"I used to weigh 190 lbs and now weigh 150 lbs. I lost 40 lbs and 19" total (4" from chest, 7" from waist, and 8" from my hips) from doing the Ultimate Boot camp at Xtreme Bodyshaping Centre. I highly recommend this program, it could change your life too! My journey was filmed by the Slice channel's hit documentary television show called X-Weighted and can be viewed at www.slice.ca."

ABOUT The Bodyshaping Course is a 10 week fitness program designed with results in mind. It combines Resistance Training, Cardio-Kickboxing, Flexibility, and a sound Nutritional program.
What makes the program so unique and successful is the people involved. When you start the course you are not doing it alone. There are up to 30 participants that are going on the same fitness journey. You will have a team of coaches, instructors and fellow teammates to help keep you motivated and on track to achieving your fitness goals. Our certified instructors help guide and encourage you through each session. Participants will be asked to train 4 days a week alternating between Strength/Conditioning and Cardio - Kickboxing classes.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING Strength and Conditioning, also known as Resistance Training, is for everyone. It is an important tool for achieving a complete healthy life. Resistance Training can help to raise your basal metabolic rate (the number of calories your body burns at rest), fight obesity, and help ward off diabetes. Strong lean muscles are essential to carry out even the most basic activities in life such as lifting grocery bags, picking up your children, or even sitting and standing. Resistance Training offers substantial health benefits that go well beyond looking toned. With more lean muscle tissue, your body can burn more fat (even at rest). This course uses a very simple and easy to follow Resistance Training program. It requires Resistance Training 2 days a week for approximately 45 -50 minutes per class.
CARDIO-KICKBOXING Kickboxing is widely known to be one of the best cardiovascular activities burning more calories than running, aerobics and cycling. This form of aerobic training not only provides you with an overall physical conditioning and toning program, it will increase your endurance, balance, stamina, flexibility and coordination while providing a healthy way to reduce stress. This program will teach you the basic fundamentals in a simple and easy to follow format with no complicated choreography. Each class is approximately 45 minutes, two times per week. Cardio-kickboxing is a workout you'll always look forward to!
FLEXIBILITY Flexibility (stretching) is one of the key components of a balanced fitness program. Without Flexibility Training you would be missing an important part of overall health. Flexibility prevents injury, increases your range of motion, promotes relaxation, improves performance and posture, reduces stress and keeps your body feeling loose and agile. This course incorporates stretching before and after all classes.
NUTRITION This course involves a comprehensive and easy to follow Nutritional Program. It's a basic guide on how to eat properly in order to achieve your desired results. It's a healthy way of eating the right foods, portions, and servings for the rest of your life. Participants will receive a guide as a reference as well as a log to track and plan meals.
"To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art"
FITNESS EVALUATION The course involves three fitness evaluations. The first evaluation takes place prior to commencement of the program. Participants will weigh in, take measurements, check body fat percentage, undergo a strength and flexibility test, and set goals. A mid evaluation takes place after 5 weeks to ensure everyone is on track and progressing towards their goals. A final evaluation will take place upon completion of the 10 weeks. The fitness evaluation will provide a baseline from which to evaluate progress and set goals.
